Welcome to the 0161 project

We believe in the transformative power of boxing, physical activity and mental wellbeing as the vehicle for change for young people in Greater Manchester. We specialise in working with disengaged and vulnerable young people, from KS2 to KS5, providing a unique physical activity, educational and employability experience. We have a proven track record of positively impacting the attendance, attitude to learning and both holistic and academic outcomes of the young people that we mentor and support. Our programmes develop confidence, discipline, positive identity and life skills alongside accredited outcomes for young people of varying ages and needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans.
